Time to be oil free

I am not talking about a new teenage face cream or food product.  It's time for America to grow up, cut the apron strings of dependence and stand on our own two feet. It is time to act (past time-but better late than never). We have the technology. Why are we giving money to nations who want to exterminate us? The "writing is on the wall", does anyone else see it?
